At long last, the curtains have been drawn back on Judas, the first game from BioShock creator Ken Levine's outfit, Ghost Story Games. Courtesy of IGN, we've got our best look yet at the game, how its intriguing "narrative LEGOs" design philosophy works in play, and, of course, a familiar, chaotic form of powered combat we've been missing desperately. Bringing Geoff Keighley along for the ride, IGN sat down for a massive interview with Levine, which is where the fount of information sprang from.

Ghost Story provided gameplay and additional information via commentary from IGN's Ryan McCaffrey. From what's on display, it's clear the team has been cooking, and many familiar elements fans have come to know and love have been expanded upon. Set on a colony ship crewed by suddenly murderous robots, and with Judas being a hacker, manipulating machines to take advantage of the environment or to overcome fearsome odds will be essential to success, and the old one-two punch of lightning and wrench (hammer this time) more effective than ever.
How do you feel about Judas? Are you excited to see what narrative tricks Levine has in store for us this time? Let us know in the comments section below.

Looks line a totally insane blast! Happy to be fighting robots and the like this time, instead of killing humans…

Ehh. I played Bioshock back on the 360 and liked it so so. Not sure all these years later i care much for it. Hope it does well but not for me after watching the video.
Day 1 purchase. Can't wait for it.
Think I'll go into this one blind.
@Savage_Joe they did that in System Shock. Great games
I feel like I've seen too much. Won't watch anything else until I get my hands on it. Absolutely mental! 🤩
Probably my most anticipated game now
Day one purchase for me. I cannot wait!
N.i.c.e. judas always reminds me of bioshock.ken levine is the creator of bioshock anyways.so the similarities is showns in the trailers so far.word up son
So excited for this! Trying to watch snippets to get me even more excited, but also avoiding it at the same time because I want to go in fresh. Bioshock 2 was boring and Infinite was an absolute mess, but the genius of Bioshock 1 guarantess this is a day one purchase for me.
Something about this leaves me sceptical and I cannot put my finger on it yet.
the shooting mechanics reminds me of Death Loop. Definitely on my watch list.
is that Troy Baker I hear??
Looks great so far.
Hope it has plenty of immersive sim-type choices of how to handle situations, maybe even fully pacifist runs if the player is so inclined.
@Veturius yeah 100% me too, they gave a lot away in this gameplay video… Media blackout from this point forward!
@Logonogo Definitely sounded like him, makes sense he would be in there, Ken's used him before
